Collect the Dr Pepper cans

You are preparing for a barbeque for you and your family, you open the fridge too see no soda at all. You live in a house that's somewhat isolated from the major city a couple miles out. The nearest grocery store is far away, to get there you have to cross a mountainous desserty area. You've done this many times before, so worries when it comes to getting lost. You went to the store and bought a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper. You check out and head on your way back home.

Suddenly, the box of soda broke, letting loose every single can. You really don't want to go back to the store as you're more than half way back home. Your goal is to collect all 12 cans before they get too hot and spoil.
